This is the posting (see below) for our Senior Laboratory Scientist - Supervisor and Technical Leader for the Firearms- Tool mark unit.
The unit handles firearms, tool marks, distance determinations, physical matching and serial # restoration.
Our staff generally have ATF or private forensic education in these disciplines to do autonomous casework with limited supervision and meet ISO (ANSI/ANAB) standards and accreditation requirements.
