Job Announcement- Sacramento, CA
« on: August 09, 2006, 05:43:00 PM »
Dear Colleagues:

I just found out that a job announcement for several Criminalist positions in our laboratory has been posted on the County recruitment website.  Please see the Job Announcement below and click on the website to obtain a description of the four Criminalist Levels and an application.   One of the positions we are recruiting for is for a firearms and toolmark examiner.  I would encourage anyone receiving this announcement to apply as lists will be established at all four Criminalist Levels of experience and the lists will likely be good for several years before a new recruitment is conducted for any positions.  There are number of examiners in all of our sections of the lab whom I anticipate will retire the next two years.  So now is the time to apply and get your name on the hiring list for future reference, regardless of your present interest and/or qualifications for the present positions currently being filled.

Remember, it’s always better say no to an offer of employment than have no opportunity to say yes because you didn’t apply!

Good luck!

Bruce Moran
