Alcatraz Tour
« on: May 01, 2007, 12:16:42 AM »
The Alcatraz tour has been confirmed.  The cost is $30 and the tour boat will leave the pier at 6:10pm.  A night tour of Alcatraz is very interesting and has a whole different feel than a day tour.  We have a block of 60 tickets (the maximum allowed by the company) and already 40 tickets have been sold.  So, if my math is correct, only 20 tickets left.

All of the contact information for the friends and family events are on the AFTE 2007 website under the Friends and Family link.  So, check it out.

Our block of 60 tickets have now all been sold, so there is no more available tickets through the Friends and Family committee for the Alcatraz tour.

However, this does not mean you will not be able to join us.  You are more than welcome and encouraged to buy individual tickets.

www.alcatrazcruises.com is the website you are able to buy tickets from.  You will need to select the date of Monday 5/28 and you need to select the departure as 6:10pm  If you buy the tickets for this date and time, you will be able to join the rest of the AFTE members taking this cruise as well.

The good thing is that the calendar from the cruise company covering our week of the conference has just been released, so there should be plenty of available spots for individual ticket purchases.  If we could have, we would have ordered more tickets, however, they limit every group to a maximum of 60 tickets, per group.  So, there was no more tickets we could have reserved.

If you have any questions contact me or any member of the friends and family committee.

Thanks
