I just found out that the city manager would not approve my training request for AFTE 2008, the reason given "Because it's in Hawaii". >:(
Anyway I have a room reserved at the hotel, which I no longer need. If anyone needs a room or if you know of someone who needs a room let me know and I will give them the reservation number, if not I will have to cancel the reservation.

I'm sorry you won't be able to attend AFTE 2008 Troy. I know I'll have trouble putting in for Las Vegas. I would like to ask that you or anyone else who has to cancel their hotel reservations do so as soon as possible. This will give us a more accurate count for our attendance. Although we have gone over our room block, there is still ample room at the hotel and the $139 room rate is good until April 16th. Aloha!
