PPU Headstamp

(1/2) > >>

Jaimie Smith:
Here is a headstamp that I couldn't find in CartWin Pro or AFTE headstamp gallery.  I think it is either a Prvi Partisan or it is made by Remington.  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.  I also figured Dave Wright could add it to the image gallery.

That orange sealant is a pretty good indicator . . . I have seen it used with other Yugo headstamps for example Hansen.

Prvi Partizan production is Ucize, Serbia post 1991.  I note it because I'm assuming the 07 means it was made in 2007.

Charles Clow:
Ah yes . . . thanks for straightening me out there Justine.  I get the countries over there all mixed up . . . my globe is outdated and obviously my reference is too.

Jaimie,

sorry you missed it but this headstamp in the CartWinPro database....
Just enter "PPU" and ~ 13 different headstamps with PPU in it will show up.  O0
Amonst them is the PPU 07 5,56x45 from 2007 you are looking for.

Have you done the 09-2009 update of CartWinPro? ^-^

Greetings

Axel
