Would you be interested in attending a conference regarding 3D laser scanning, shooting reconstruction, and crime scenes

Yes, and I would likely come.
Yes, but I would most likely not be able to come.
No, sounds lame.
What is 3D laser scanning?

3D Laser Scanning and Trajectory Conference
« on: December 02, 2008, 10:04:24 AM »
Morning.
My old Commander is thinking about bringing the International Forensic and Security Metrology (IFSM) group here to Albuquerque in 2010.  The conference involves crime scene operations, and particularly 3D Laser scanning as it is applied to forensics.  I have been involved in this group for quite a while, as well as with 3D Laser scanning, and think that the future of crime scene documentation, as well as presentation is related to these fields.  I am curious, how many of our members might be interested in such a conference.
Thanks in advance.

If you make it coorespond with one of my trips to visit the 'rents in 'Burque, I'll come!  ;D

Otherwise...I doubt the county will foot the bill considering we aren't doing crime scene........

I voted for the "sounds lame" option just to irritate you but it actually does sound cool.  I so rarely do crime scenes that I probably wouldn't put it at the top of my training agenda but if it's close and I can get away I might still make it!

I voted "Yes, but not like to attended" only because the state of our department's budget.  I don't know if they will be able to send me.

Hey Mike, maybe I could rent a car and drive over.  What to you recomend?  A convertible Sebring?  How about a convertible Cabriolet? ;D

No matter what I drive, I'm not letting you navigate anymore!!!
It was your fault, not mine!
(except for when you kept me from driving all the way to NYC instead of Ft. Dix, but that doesn't really count).
Aaron, can you keep him in line?
Doyle, before you leave, could I have some sort of editorial authority over Maciulla?
