The Kansas City Missouri Police Crime Lab is seeking qualified applicants for an  opening in our Firearms/Toolmark Section.

Duties include: examination of firearms and ammunition components, GSR examinations, toolmark examinations, serial number restoration, NIBIN entry and providing expert witness testimony on examinations performed.

Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university that includes course work in a physical science.
            or
Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and a Masters degree in Forensics.

Prior experience working in a forensic laboratory preferred. 

The salary range is as follows:   

Criminalist  III   - $3105-5497 monthly
Criminalist  IV   - $3360-5947 monthly
