Yes, "holes" on cartridges differ a little, but nevertheless....
The hole it's not marking i think..  It probable such design of a bottom part of the cartridge.
I think that this distinctive sign of the cartridges can be accepted as a distinctive sign of group cartridges of production of the different countries. In this case cartridges 22LR FC (USA) and 5.6мм Olymp (RF).

May be who knows still other similar cartridges of production of other countries (.22LR with "hole")?
