Good day Ladies and Gentlemen,

The AFTE forum pretty much handed me my internship required for graduation, so let's see how it works getting me a job!

My name is Steven Richardson and I am a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida's Forensic Science BS program.  I interned with the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory's Firearm and Tool Mark section in the spring of 2011 under Jennifer Floyd and Rebecca Mullen.  I am very enthusiastic about the field of Firearms Examination and am very eager to learn.  I am an avid shooter and compete monthly with the Central Florida Defensive Carbine Club, and annually with the GSSF.  While I have little crime laboratory experience, I feel that my qualifications and skill-set will make me a welcome and valuable asset to the laboratory that trains me.

Thank you for your time!

Jennifer Floyd

Anyone interested in hiring Steven, feel free to contact me for more details on his time interning with us.

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you to everyone who viewed my resume and certifications.  I was recently offered a position with the Acadiana Criminalistics Laboratory in New Iberia, Louisiana, and I happily accepted.

A special thank you to my internship coordinators and supervisors at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for helping me to fulfill my degree requirements and assisting me in finding a position in the field!
