A couple reminders about flights and reservations before you head our way...

You can book restaurants & activities 60 days in advance around Disneyland. We recommend this especially if you plan on dining in downtown Disney or Disneyland.

Try to fly into either John Wayne Airport or Long Beach. Flying into other airports like LAX will result in much longer commute times.

The Northeastern Illinois Regional Crime Laboratory (NIRCL) is seeking an experienced forensic scientist to work in the Firearm & Toolmark Section.


Located in Mundelein Illinois, the NIRCL provides forensic services to 61 member agencies across 6 Illinois counties around the Chicagoland area, serving a population over 1.6 million people.  The section is currently staffed with 3 full time examiners.

The Firearm and Toolmark Section at the Austin Forensic Science Department has expanded and is hiring a Forensic Scientist I, II, III, IV or V - Firearms and Toolmarks.
·         Location:  Austin, Texas
·         Full-Time, 40 hours
·         Flexible Work Schedule (choose between four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts)
·         Hiring salary based upon experience

The Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division has an opening for a Forensic Inventory Control officer in the Firearm and Toolmark Unit.


The main purpose of this position is to test firearms for operability, write reports, triage ammunition components, assist with inventory quality control measures and communicate with other agency representatives as needed.
