Orc Forensics has stopped making the Hott-Rod and I was wondering if anyone has found a similar depth gauge for making barrel measurements? My quick search has found plenty of depth rules up to 12", but nothing long enough for measuring rifle and shotgun barrels. I have seen some digital options as well, but I do not have any experience with those.

The PFT set up also looks great and I will be looking into that more for next FY, but I am hoping to find something similar to what we have already been using since we are in  our end of year time crunch.

Thanks!
Sam

Sam, did you or anybody else ever find a product similar to the Hott-Rod barrel measuring tool?

Thx,
Eric

Thanks,

Hey Jason -

I just saw your post and we have not replaced out hott rods. We are getting them calibrated every 3 years (per our TP) and they are holding up.

I thought I heard something about them being resurrected, but that may be wishful thinking on my part. If I find anything, I will let you know!

Has anybody found an adequate measuring rod to replace their Hott-Rod(s)? We are looking to replace our .22 cal rod...
