I'm posting it here for those that have requested an early copy.  There were a few changes after it went to print but we will announce those at the meeting and they are relatively minor.
A very special thanks to Jennifer Gelston and Jessica Winn for their hard work in putting together the technical program and program binder.

At this late date  :-\  to what member and address do we procrastinators mail door prizes?

Hey Bob, at this point I'd say you can send it to the hotel to my attention.

Jeff a thumbs up to those individuals who put together this years AFTE 2016 website.  Very easy to navigate through and find the answers needed.    :-00

Hey Bob, Is that a picture of the new Abrams M1A1 NATO tank on your profile picture?  ^-^

Wish I could have made it to N'Ahlins this year but I had to have surgery on my left carotid artery.  Such is life.  Maybe next year.  Y'all have fun!!!

Glad you commented.  :)

My AFTE article "Two Swab Serial Number Restorations" describes the use of a belt sander and buffing machine to make a S/N restoration an operation of only a few minutes. (Plus two cotton swabs). A full description appears in "The 380 Matrix—a Technical Guide".

It's not necessarily the speed, but the flat plate (platen) of the belt sander that makes the difference. Any grade of sanding belt will work.  (!)  ???

Speed does help: I'd earlier described a murder case that had the suspect under arrest within a couple of hours.

Autoloading pistols take longer, because you have to remove the slide.  ;)

Tori,

As a former operator of the original M1 and M1IP (Improved Product) versions of the Abrams, I should probably take some offense to your comment.  After all, we did have slightly more range than that electrical cord would allow  ::) .  However, this did give me an excuse to finally use the tank emoticon, so Thanks!!   :tank:
