Here is a draft agenda and objectives that I was sent a while back:

Quote
As a reminder, this workshop is designed for researchers working in academia, government and the private sector and practicing firearm and toolmark examiners. Our objectives for the event are as follows:

-
Provide a venue for practitioners and researchers to interact and exchange ideas
-Present an update on research programs and outcomes
-Give an overview of the various data collection efforts underway in the US and elsewhere
- Discuss gaps in the research and data and plan on approaches to fill those gaps
- Begin the discussion of what needs to happen before crime labs can begin to pilot some of the new technologies
The views expressed here do not necessarily reflect the views of anyone, anywhere, ever - including the author.
