Topic: Comparison Microscope Manufacturers

  Not sure if I'm in the right area or not, but here goes.  We're looking to buy a second Scope.  We currently have a Leica UFM4.  We've got a quote from a guy on a Leica FS C, as apparently they no longer make the UFM4.  We've also got a quote coming from a guy on the Leeds LCF scope. 

    Are there any other reputable manufacturers of Comparison scopes we should be trying to get a quote from?  I'm trying to cover all the bases here, would hate to drop the money on a good scope, and then find one as good, or better, for half the price a month later.

Projectina also offers a Comparison Scope. It's marketed through armor forensics. You can contact Dick Rogers or Kevin Strock. These are the only 3 reputable companies I know of. There are one or two others out there making comparisons but they are not with any companies and I have never seen a display at the annual AFTE meetings.
