Topic: ATF Serial Number Restoration School - June 29 - July 1

ATF will be hosting a Serial Number Restoration School June 29 – July 1, 2022 at the ATF National Laboratory Center in Ammendale (Beltsville), MD. The 3 day course includes lecture on the techniques and history of serial number restoration as well as numerous hands-on practical exercises.  The students will use several different restoration techniques, including magnetic particle inspection, chemical etching, and the electrolytic method. There is no cost for the training; however, students are responsible for their own travel, lodging and incidental expenses. Firearms will be provided by ATF for the restoration practical exercises.
The class hours:                                                                                                                                                                        Wednesday, June 29 and Thursday, June 30  8:00 – 4:00                                                                                        Friday, July 1 - 8:00 – 2:30
