I had the distinct honor and pleasure of meeting and talking to Charles "Charlie" Meyers this week at AFTE 2009 in Miami.  During our talk I mentioned that I hadn't been able to get in touch with him using the contact information that I had for him and found out that he had moved.

Anyone desiring to obtain a copy of Silent Evidence: Firearms and Toolmarks Cases from Forensic Science should contact Charles Meyers with the contact information listed below.  The book is only available by ordering directly from the author.

I asked Charles Meyers about his contact information, and he asked if I would I post it here.  I told him that I would be honored to do so. However, I would not post this information without his prior consent and approval.

Summer address:

Winter address:

Truely a gentleman and an excellent speaker. I could have listened to him all night at the banquet.  Sadly, I don't think his speach was video taped for inclusion into the DVD set.  I would have loved to have had that piece of history documented.

Regardless, it was an awesome meeting topped off with the presence of AFTEs 2nd president.

Does Charlie have an email address, I would like to know if he'll accept a cheque in Pounds sterling? (and what shipping to UK will cost)

Brandon,

I'm sorry to say that Charles Meyers does not have email.

Send me an email or pm, and I may be able to help you out.  I will be placing an order for several copies of the book soon.  I give copies of this book away as prizes in football contests and other contests for firearm examiners, and I think I may be able to help you out as well.

Richard

btw - I noticed that there were two threads on this topic, and I merged the two threads into one.

A review of Meyers' book appears in Volume 37 Number 2—Spring 2005 AFTE Journal. (Reviewed by Criminalist Bruce Moran).
