I'm definitely up for this with my wife on Saturday. Sunday is not so good as it may clash with whatever workshops will be scheduled?
I've responded to the email address on the attachment expressing interest. I'm already looking forward to it!

Talked to shop.
When we get five bike rentals confirmed, group rates will apply (already three from Washington). This shop only has 15 bikes, but they may be able to get a couple more if we run them dry.  Also trying to secure delivery to hotel and/or transport. More details as I get them. Thanks.

here is the link to the info http://www.afte.org/TrainingSeminar/AFTE2013/announcements/gunrun.htm
Thanks for posting Jay!

I am also looking forward to the Saturday ride.

Will you all be playing poker on the Sunday ride?

Rick,

Myself and Kris Audinis will be in for both days.  Let us know when they start taking reservations at the HD Shop for the bikes.  You may want to look into HOG International to see if they can help with rates and/or availability of motors should they run dry.  Looking forward to both these rides.

The shop on the AFTE page is an Eaglerider that has Triumph as well. The Harley shop also will have bikes/HOG, but they are a bit further from the hotel.

Also Eaglerider rates are set to go up in November as much as 10% so lock in soon.

Due to a general lack of interest, the AFTE gunrun will be in-formalized this year.  The routes will be the same, but those interested in riding will meet at the Starbucks in the Hyatt (conference hotel) at 0900 both days. Plan on being stands-up by 0930. Attendees are on their own to secure bikes, but if you need help let me know.  Sorry, we will try again in Seattle.

Update:
Looks like shop (Eaglerider-PJ's motorcycles) is willing to open Sunday for bike return for those wanting to rent for just one day. If this changes things for you, email me.

As of now we have four riding saturday and six on sunday.

For saturday, we are going to take the long way to santa fe and have lunch at the santa fe brewing company. If you want to rent saturday am and bomb up I-25 you can meet us there to continue the fun ride through the mountains.

We are still following the routes posted on the website both days, however the Sunday ride may be lengthened a bit. Kathy will be sure we are back by the opening reception/rattlesnake demo.  I have been designated "snake safety wrangler" on Sunday, so I will have to be back a bit early.

Thanks.

For those riding with us Saturday and Sunday, there are still a few wild fires that could potentially affect our routes, so we might be winging it depending on conditions. We are still meeting at the Starbucks in the Conference hotel at 0900 both days.   See ya soon!!
