Seeking Firearm Technician Employment

Hi! I have seen several threads entitled this way, but I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring anyways. My name is Brandon and I am seeking a position as a Firearm Technician, I am open to going almost anywhere at this point. I have applied to several positions throughout the country, and am waiting to hear back from a few. I have a BS in Microbiology with a Minor in Chem and meet all minimum qualifications for positions. I currently work for a private Toxicology Lab as a Chemist and Quality Associate, but I did work part-time with LVMPD in their DNA department. That is where I learned about and became enamored with this field, and have been trying to gain entry ever since. Unfortunately I had to leave LVMPD due to personal issues and was unable to keep up with two full time jobs, and a part time position. Any leads would be greatly appreciated! I check the website listings and governmentjobs.com weekly.
